Reading time

Recently we came across this article outlining an approach to designing social games for learning that involves appealing to our capacity to engage in so called Capital Sins such as Greed in a bid to make the game like experiences compelling and potent to the Nth degree.

Linked in the article there’s a great video of a TED talk by Tom Chatfield  with mention of Lee Sheldon’s classes where students get graded much like an RPG with XP being earned!

Looks like game like experiences and design lessons are well and truly embedding themselves in the very fabric of curriculum interaction design.

We feel psyched to be part of this crazy area with our own project!
